Dragon Ma is back, having rid the seas of the dreaded Pirate Lo. Back on land, he is assigned to the police force, where he is to clean up corruption and crime in a local suburb. Along the way, he is caught up in the fate of several Chinese patriots attempting to secure sympathy and support for their revolutionary cause. The Chinese Manchu government is after these revolutionaries, and anyone that stands in their way is in trouble, even if they are in the police force.

Winners_And_Sinners_(1983) [RS]

In this entertaining Hong Kong comedy-action-drama, five creatively-named criminals (Teapot, Vaseline, Exhaust Pipe, Curly Jerk, and Ranks) get out of prison and decide to "go straight" by starting a cleaning business. One of their customers is the underworld counterfeiter "Boss Chau," also released from prison but still committed to his chosen vocation. An ace detective (Jackie Chan) is about to grab Chau's counterfeiting plates when the cleaning crew accidentally make off with the plates while doing Chau's house. Their troubles only increase when they learn that the younger sister of one of them (and love interest of three) has been kidnapped by the rival gang leader "Boss Man" and is being held in exchange for the printing plates.

Thunderbolt (1995) [RS]

Jackie plays Foh, an expert mechanic who has returned from Japan after a master course at Mitsubishi Motors. He runs a small business in Hong Kong along with his father and two sisters. In his spare time, he also helps the police out by checking cars that have been illegally upgraded. One night, psychotic street racing driver Warner Krugerman, aka Cougar, speeds past Foh and the cops. Foh gets into a car and stops Cougar heroically. Cougar lands in jail, but breaks out eventually. He gets revenge on Foh by trashing his business and kidnapping his sisters. The only way Foh can get his sisters back is by racing cougar in Japan. He now must retrain himself in race car driving so he can be at his best to race Cougar.

Rumble in the Bonx (1995) [RS]

Keong comes from Hong Kong to visit New York for his uncle's wedding. His uncle runs a market in the Bronx and Keong offers to help out while Uncle is on his honeymoon. During his stay in the Bronx, Keong befriends a neighbor kid and beats up some neighborhood thugs who cause problems at the market. Meanwhile, one of those petty thugs in the local gang stumbles into a criminal situation way over his head. Blinded by greed, his involvement draws his gang, the kid, Keong, and the whole neighborhood into a deadly crossfire. When the lazy cops fail to successfully resolve matters, Keong takes things into his own hands. Needless to say, much spectacular kung-fu and outrageous action sequences follow....

Agent Jackie is hired to find WWII Nazi gold hidden in the Sahara desert. He teams up with three bundling women (the 3 stooges?) who are all connected in some way. However a team of mercenries have ideas on the ownership of the gold. A battle / chase ensues as to who gets there first. Lots of choregraphed Kung-Fu and quirky Chan humour.

Drunken Master (1978) [RS]

Wong Fei Hong (Jackie Chan) is sent to train under his uncle, a wine guzzling master famous for crippling his students. Desperate to escape this brutal teacher's cruel regime, he flees but is confronted, humiliated and beaten senseless by a hired assassin (Hwang Jang lee). Angry, ashamed, hungry for revenge, the wayward Fei Hung returns to his drunken master. This is the second collabration between director Yuen Woo Ping and Jackie Chan was another huge box-office hit, drawing in 8 million HK dollars on its run. Blending intresting martial arts moves with slapstick comedy (Jackie trademark). "Drunken Master" ushered in the new genre of comedy kung fu and estableshed Chan as its uncontested king.

The legend of drunken master (1994) [RS]

Returning home with his father after a shopping expedition, Wong Fei-Hong is unwittingly caught up in the battle between foreigners who wish to export ancient Chinese artifacts and loyalists who don't want the pieces to leave the country. Fei-Hong has learned a style of fighting called "Drunken Boxing", which makes him a dangerous person to cross. Unfortunately, his father is opposed to his engaging in any kind of fighting, let alone drunken boxing. Consequently, Fei-Hong not only has to fight against the foreigners, but he must overcome his father's antagonism as well.
